I had been in the insurance industry for over 30 years and was working for the top global professional services organization. I developed my internal and external profile and was comfortable consulting with C-Suite execs from the largest global insurance firms. I was well-paid and always performed above expectations. My role was unique and nuanced which differentiated me from any other colleague. I always worked remotely and enjoyed having complete autonomy.
